Createx, located in Denmark, Norway and Germany, was established in 1986 by Hans Friedrich (Managing director).
At his side Tove Resset (office manager), two employees and a wide network of partners.

Createx started structually building up customer network in all northern countries with special customer groups the workshops of the theatres, opera houses, television and film-studios. Createx then continued with costumes, ballet textiles, tricots confection, historical hats, shoes, ballet and dancing boots, feathers.

In 1989 Createx increased its sales program with other products necessary for set decorations like textiles (bleaching, dyeing, sewing, special theatre paints, dance floors, projection screens, wheels, frame systems, etc.).

Since 1990 Createx is organizing seminars together with the suppliers for decoration painters, costume- and set designers.

1996 was the year where stage technology was added to the product line: mobile aluminium constructions like staging, seated risers, turntables, trusses and special customer constructions.

In 2000 the company moved its headquarter from Norway to Denmark.

In 2007 Createx started an office for technical- and service for theatre projects as new constructions and renovations, with counselling and mediation.

Createx' class-A supplier network in the theatre-industry is just as well-known as their excellent delivery service.
